Islam Channel's "Your Local Jummah" Programme Filmed This Week at New Peckham Mosque

This week's edition of Islam Channel's "Your Local Jummah" programme, which showcases a different local mosque across the United Kingdom each week, was filmed at ICMG UK Peckham Branch – New Peckham Mosque (Sheikh Nazim Al-Qubrusi).

During the visit, the Islam Channel production team recorded the entire Friday programme. The pre-Jumu'ah talk and Friday khutbah delivered by Dr Ibrahim Urkaç, Director of ICMG UK Peckham Branch, were professionally filmed for the programme. The production also captured the Friday congregational prayer, the atmosphere of the mosque and members of the congregation.

Following the filming, Dr Ibrahim Urkac (Peckham branch advisor and teh ICMG Regional Center Mosque Imam) and Emrullah Sarman (Imam of ICMG UK Peckham Branch) took part in an in-depth interview discussing the mission of New Peckham Mosque, the work of ICMG UK, its educational programmes, youth initiatives and community services provided to Muslims across the local area.

Through "Your Local Jummah", which features a different mosque each week, viewers were introduced to the worship, educational activities, youth work and community services carried out by New Peckham Mosque and ICMG UK Peckham Branch.
