On 9 July 2026, a delegation from ICMG UK Peckham Branch paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Mr Osman Koray Ertaş, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the United Kingdom, at the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in London.
The delegation was represented by Emrullah Sarman, Imam and Head of Religious Affairs of ICMG UK Peckham Branch, and Mustafa Erdal, Head of Organisation of the Branch. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to exchange views on matters concerning the Turkish and Muslim community in the United Kingdom and to discuss future initiatives for the benefit of the wider community.
Held in a warm and constructive atmosphere, the meeting focused on a range of important topics, including education, youth development, family and community services, strengthening social solidarity, and enhancing cooperation between community institutions. Both sides also explored opportunities for future collaboration and discussed a number of long-term projects aimed at serving the community more effectively.
The discussions highlighted the importance of dialogue, mutual cooperation and a shared commitment to supporting the social, educational and cultural development of future generations through strong institutional partnerships.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed its sincere appreciation to His Excellency Ambassador Osman Koray Ertaş for his warm hospitality, generous welcome and valuable insights.
