Cataract is the clouding of the natural lens of the eye, which is the leading cause of blindness in hot areas like Africa due to intense sunlight and malnutrition. Through a brief surgical operation, we remove the clouded lens and replace it with an artificial lens, restoring the patients' eyesight.
Our mobile clinics travel to remote, doctorless villages with fully equipped medical vehicles and health professionals. They conduct health screenings, pediatric checkups, and distribute free essential medications to the villagers.
